Robert (Rob) Gauthier – CEO
An Army veteran and TAG’s Chief Executive Officer, Rob has provided workforce solutions for firms from startups to Fortune 100 companies for over 20 years. He has provided effective recruitment solutions, including executive search, interim staffing, market mapping, and recruitment education and training, to assist firms in evaluating, assessing, interviewing and attracting human capital talent to their organizations—all practices that could benefit Federal managers as well. In addition to being TAG’s CEO, Rob is advisor to his former company and stays on top of the human capital recruitment profession through membership in the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), a global industry association.
Shirl Nelson – President and COO
TAG’s President and Chief Operating Officer, Shirl Nelson, is a former Federal and private sector senior executive. She is recognized within the acquisition community for her leadership, her advocacy for the acquisition workforce, and her contributions to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of acquisition organizations. In her federal service career, Shirl held senior procurement executive and other key positions. Continuing these contributions, in her role as TAG president, Shirl provides leadership, advice, and support to federal and private sector clients. She currently serves as vice chair of The Procurement Round Table, and is co-founder of the Partnership for Public Service’s Chief Acquisition Officer Strategic Advisor to Government Executive (SAGE) group. Shirl is the author of numerous articles focused on acquisition workforce and organizational issues.
